After making yesterday's card with the labels dies I thought I'd use them again on this one but in a different way.

 I stamped off Staz on to get a slightly later shade of black but I was still able to watercolour with it.  Some of the other stamps I used were the Hardwood background and Happy Watercolour set.

I thought I'd take yesterday's card and make it a springy one!  This background technique can easily be made with lots of different colours!  I used green to go along with St Patrick's Day today :)

Wanna know how I made the background? I used my ink pads directly to the paper and a mask to create the background.  Soft Sky and Marina Mist were used here but you could use LOTS of different colours!!

It's the weekend!!!!  Well almost!  I have been hearing for days and days the countdown to Nathan's birthday at the end of the month.  Do you have lots of birthdays this spring?

 Unlike some of the other cards I have shared this one uses almost all of the stamps in the Best of Birthdays set.  Change te colours up and you can easily make this one a "guy" card too.

Best of Snow

While searching for ideas for these blog posts I came across this card from Dawn O and I thought it was lovely and didn't want to change a thing!  Thanks Dawn for the idea and possibly my Christmas cards next year.

 I remember how much I like embossing and it can be quick and easy.  This card is super glittery even though you can't see it as much in the photo.  I embossed it in silver tinsel (silver embossing powder and silver glitter).

 I love to watercolour and this stamp is perfect for that.  The background is another technique.  I used the retired heart to heart punch and the full heart punch to make a tone on tone background.

 Maybe the cutting around the squares too me a bit longer but not by much.

I used 4 inks (Summer Starfruit, Coastal Cabana, Primrose Petals and Crisp Cantaloupe) and quickly embossed in White embossing powder to make this simple but I think lovely Sympathy card.

You can never have too many butterflies, right?

Then this set is for you.  There are Butterflies of all different shapes, styles and sizes in this set and I combined them all in to this butterfly collage card.

The best part is that the Pear Pizzazz butterfly with the pearls has it's own co-ordinating punch!  Oh, and the greeting is another from the best of Greetings set.

Best of Butterflies

Here is a glittery treat for you this Tuesday.  I stamped the butterfly with Staz On onto a Window sheet and used Crystal Effects and re-inker (the stuff you use to re-ink your ink pads) to colour the butterfly.  You may not be able to see the glitter too much in the photo but trust me it's pretty sparkly.

It was a Kids Camp chilly weekend for me but tons of fun.  We made some canvas art pieces for their rooms and I'll be sure to share them with you soon.  They were AMAZING!

WOW Project class - Card Box workshop

Finally my Card Box Worskhop WOW class with cool photos!  

In this class you will be given the opportunity to make THREE of the coolest cards around!  These are all over Pintrest and blogs galore. 

I have three samples shown here - Birthday, Baby and a Thinking of you/Thank You.

These cards can all be mailed FLAT like this.

 Why is this class called a WORKSHOP?   

I will have the materials here for you to make THREE full box cards.  You will choose the theme, colours, stamps etc that you want to use.  I will provide you the card box measurements and tips that I have learned from making mine.  Then you are free to create!
*If you want to make three exactly like mine that is okay too :)

These cards are more "intense" than other WOW projects so you may not get all 3 cards completely done but you should be able to complete 2 plus get the pieces cut and stamped for a third.
