In Colour Club - Join now!

A new Stampin Up year brings us great new stamps and papers but also new IN COLOURS!  This year's colours do not disappoint and the best part yet is that they coordinate beautifully together.

If you are in love with colour then join this club.   The stamp set included in this kit is the Ronald McDonald House set.  By purchasing this kit $3 will be donated to RMHC.

Glacier Calving in Alaska - OMG!

I received this link from a fellow Alaskan cruiser and I just HAD to share.  This is the same glacier we saw as we traveled down the Tracy Arm Fjord.  We were NO where near as close as this little boat and THANK GOODNESS.  There was one person injured and I hope that she will be fine.

Here are the photos we took of the same glacier. WAH, I want to go back - but not that close thank you very much!

Christmas Buffet samples

Here are the last of the Christmas Card buffet close ups.  Yesterday I cut 160+ cards for this weekend's buffet so I hope my guests are ready to make some cards!

I love this card and it looks much better in person than in a photo. So simple and so elegant.

Don't recognize this set?   It's a new one in the Holiday Mini

 Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas cards #3

**Note - The Beginner Learn to Stamp class has been rescheduled.  Watch for more details in the fall.

Just a few more Christmas buffet cards to share.   And only 2 more after these ones.  I promise my Christmas sharing wont cover the entire month of August.

This card was CASED from a swap card I received from Kathy C.  I love the non traditional colour scheme.

Another swap card I prepared for Convention.

My take on simple Christmas vintage.  It needs something but I'm not sure what.  Suggestions?

 Thanks for stopping by.

More Christmas Buffet cards

Oops, I accidently had two posts scheduled for yesterday (one was supposed to be Mondays) so I can't leave you hanging.  Here are a few more Christmas Buffet cards.

The first one is my favourite, I think.  Dasher is such a lovely stamp and is so elegant.  I have added some basic rhinestones to add bling to his antlers. I like the peek a boo window sentiment too.  The new set Petite Pairs is perfect for this concept.

I have shown you this card before as I used this for one of my swap cards at Convention, but thought I'd throw it in this buffet for a wintery twist.

Have a great Monday.

PS More Christmas cards tomorrow - there are 10 cards at this buffet.  Contact me to book a Christmas card class with you and 5 of your closest stamping buddies. If you are new to stamping book a beginner's workshop with me and we can plan out some WOW Christmas cards or Birthday cards for you and your friends.

Anyways, it's back to work this week in the Christmas swing of things and getting ready for the card buffet.

Wedding pics

Hi all

I don't usually post on Sundays but realized I didn't show you any pics from my nephew's wedding last weekend.

Here are a few of my favourites. Don't Andrew and Nathan look CUTE!

Family shot!

My sister Steph and her growing family

Grandpa and Grandma and the kids

I have a ton more favourites but I'll spare you all the family shots.  BUT I will share one more as some of you wonder just how big my family is.  This is a shot of my brothers and sisters.  Yes there are 6 kids in my family.

Thanks for stopping by today.
