My theme of the week was EASTER TREAT BOXES!!! And I'm not foreshadowing my WOW class at all.
This box I found on Tammie Morton's blog. AMAZINGLY CUTE! We are making this one at Kids camp too. They are going to love it but only if we fill it with treats :)
The last sneak peek of my WOW class. The full photos of all three projects will be shared tomorrow and contact me ASAP to register.
Thanks for checking in!

More of this week's theme . . .
Have you figured out my theme yet??
Another simple project I made in preparation for this March's WOW class. This one didn't make the cut but it's still cute. I would use this to hold a Ghiradelli chocolate, a gift certificate (sticking up a bit) or maybe some jelly beans.
Here's another sneak peek for the WOW class. You won't want to miss this class.
Last sneak peek is tomorrow and then registration starts on Friday!!!
Cheers,
K

The theme of the week is . . .
I'll see if you can figure it out before I come right out and tell you.
I have been planning some projects for Kids camp this week and I decided to do an open ended type of project. This is just one of the many things we will do this weekend.
Each of the kids will make a couple of these goodie baskets and they can decorate them how they wish. I'll have a bunch of papers, pattern papers and inks and let them go to town. I'll take pics of what they come up with and maybe pics of the aftermath when I do let them go to town :) Hmmmm, maybe I'll make it more of a controlled chaos.
Check back each day this week for a sneak a peek at the WOW class on March 20th. Registration for March WOW starts on March 1st and here is the first sneak a peek.
Aren't you curious??
Thanks for stopping by.

K

Kids Blast off Birthday!
I have been working on cards for an upcoming Stamp a stack (details to come soon) but here is a card I made the Kids set Blast off with the SAS in mind but it didn't make the cut.
I was happy I used the space jumbo wheel and almost all of the stamps in the Blast Off set but I don't think would work for mass production. Hint - but I did make a Blast off card for the Stamp a Stack :)
Not only did we have hockey and such but Nathan found time to learn to sew. Andrew has been doing quite a bit of hand sewing for his Foods and Fashion at school so Nathan wanted to get into the mix (of course). We found some fabric during our big clean last weekend and he decided he really wanted to make a bag.
Now he has a new bag for his piano books! Kids are amazing. I'll take a pic of Andrew's pillow when he gets it back from school.
Look for an upcoming March newsletter with new classes and great specials from Stampin UP!
Cheers,
K

Dress Up clips card
One last card made with those cute clips :)
The colours on this card are a tad bright in the photo but it really is Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit.
I know I don't have to tell you but I REALLY am loving the Dress Up framelits. On this card I cracked open up my Designer Builder brads. They are pretty special and sparkly. I'll have to come up with something super creative for my Cardmaker's Club using this babies!
Have a great weekend!

K

Dinoroar plus polka dots
Morning!
Here is my next polka dot card as promised. Want to know how this one came together?
I stamped a piece of Whisper White with Pool Party by accident so I didn't want it to go to waste. Then I had the new Hung Up clips lying on my table that just arrived in my order. Voila!
It was nice to create without having a class, swap or mass production in mind. Cutting multiples of that dinosaur - I shudder :)
Off to try out some projects with more of these clips. Too fun!
Cheers,
K

Loving Distressed Dots
I love polka dots and have had my eye on this background stamp for a while now. When I had some "free hostess dollars" to spend I decided to add this stamp to my pile!
I'm soo happy I was able to play with it a bit today.
Okay, maybe this cutie patootie whale is a little more front and center but aren't those cute Marina Mist polka dots in the background.
This Oh, Whale! set I won at the Leadership meetings in Orlando. He is super cute and has many other sentiments that go with it like Whale you be mine?, Whalecome, and Thanks a ton!. Ha ha ha.
Check back tomorrow for another cute kid card with you guessed it - distressed dots :)
Cheers,
K

Brights Scrapbook page
I hope you had a fantastic weekend!
It feels like forever ago but last Friday we had our scrapbooking workshop and we made some great pages.
Here was my original design. It would work for a birthday, theme park or parade pics.
And here are three other variations. I forgot to take pics of the last two layouts but they were soo impressive with the actual photos in them.
I'm working on another scrapbooking project so I hope I can share some pics of it soon.
Cheers,
K

Moving Forward more samples
I'm calling this my "better late than never post??" It's been a busy two days with clubs, a family day of skiing yesterday and blog posts ended up being on the bottom of the to do list - sorry!
Nevertheless here it is!
These cards are made from the set Moving Forward (yes, the same set that is used in my next class on the 28th of Feb, see here for more details.).
I got this colour combo and card layout idea from my friend Lisa Althouse so go check our her great samples using this set.
Don't you just LOVE how you use the SAME stamp and create a completely different look or feel by just changing the colours.
Have a great long weekend and maybe, just maybe I'll have a surprise weekend post :)
Cheers,
K

And the winner is . . .
Hanny!!!
212 cards were made over the weekend - amazing, isn't it! Congrats Hanny!
Today is the start of the Teacher's Convention / Family Day long weekend and I can't wait! Lots of sleeping in, family time and just lazing about. Aren't you jealous :) In that lazing around time I'll be sure to do lots of stamping, teaching clubs and classes and more so keep checking back.
Tonight I have Card Club and we are doing the Chalkboard techniques for tonight. There were lots of samples of this at Leadership and I got this idea from my downline Allison. Thanks Allison for sharing your great sample.
And a card with the same technique. This would make a great teacher's card.
Have a great Wednesday!
Cheers,
K

Got cards?
Sorry for the quick post but I had an extremely busy but productive day making up the "leftover" card kits from my weekend buffet.
In half a day I made 30 cards. I'm pooped! Off to bed and tomorrow I'll catch up on the other "work stuff" on my list.
Any guesses on how many card were made at my house this weekend?? Guesses anyone?? Here's a hint - there were 26 people over two days. Closest guess without going over wins a sampling of cards :) Leave me a comment with your guess.
Cheers,
K

When the spring catalogue came out this was one product that I WAS NOT going to purchase. WHY DO I need dress framelits? I have boys! I knew when I went to Orlando I was sure to be Wooo'ed by all the fantastic ideas and swaps I would receive and I was right.

You choose your frame colour, colour, embellishments and style of dress! Add the glass front or not - you choose!

Bitty Banners framelit
I'm all set for a busy weekend of card buffets! Or at least I hope I am. Three classes from Sat morning to Sunday afternoon so I should be a bit busy to say the least.
While creating cards for my Wed WOW framelit class I found this super cute and super easy card made with the Bitty Banners framelits.
I made this using scraps from the Floral District Designer Series Paper. I save all these little bits of pattern paper and now I know why!
Have a great weekend and check back on Monday for another new class preview.
Here is a sneak peak :)

Kids camp projects
WOW I can't believe it is already Wednesday! Where has this week gone?!?!? Today I hope to get some stamping done so wish me luck.
I haven't shared my Kids Camp projects from the weekend. We had a great time creating these card boxes, baking cookies and making some Valentine treats.
I even taught the Club Create crew to cross stitch using the Sweet threads kit in the Spring Catalogue. They loved it and caught on so quickly. This kit would make a great birthday present or Spring Break craft kit!! You know we'll need something to keep them busy over the break!
Have a great day and enjoy the fantastic weather we have been having!
Cheers,
K

And then this over the top floral card. The Floral framelits paired with the Daydream Medallions stamp set, scrunched, crunched, inked and distressed make this card super easy to come together. Can't you imagine this one in bright colours??
