Envelope card box instructions
After lots of requests of "how'd you do that?" I made a step by step picture tutorial on how to make the Note card box I shared yesterday. I found this idea thanks to wonderful Google and Amy Koender's great instructions. Thanks Amy.
Start with an 8x8 piece of card stock.
In the envelope punch board line up the edge of the card stock at 3-1/8", punch and score.
Move the paper to 3-7/8" and punch and score again.
You will end up with 2 score lines and two punched shapes on one edge.
Turn your paper 90 degrees and line up the score marker edge on the first scoring line, punch and score. Repeat on the second scoring line.
Repeat on three sides of the card stock. On the fourth side line up the score marker edge on the first scoring line - punch and score. On the second score line JUST PUNCH- DO NOT SCORE.
** Note how the top right hand corner of the sheet shown below has only one score line.
In each of the corners trim out the excess.
The final piece should like like this.
Fold on the top edge and adhere down.
Here is the finished and unembellished note card box (sorry for the fuzzy picture).
And VOILA! All fancy and dressed up and ready to hold some note cards.
If you don't have the Envelope Punch board yet be sure to contact me to order yours today!
Cheers,
K

Fresh prints note card set
It's a crazy week! Lots of volunteering and I have to make crepes for N's school today - fun, fun, fun! So not much stamp, stamp, stamp for me :(
Here is a note card set I worked on a few weeks back. I made this little holder from a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and the envelope punch board.
And here were the 5 cards inside. I CASED the template for these note cards from my friend Angela McKay from North Van. She has a very cool blog so go check her out.
So super simple and fast when paired with the Fresh Prints paper and the Petite Petals punch and stamp set.
Thanks for checking in.
Cheers,
K

Sale A Bration scrapbook page
WHAT A WEEKEND!!! Did you wake up early yesterday? Our house did and it was so worth it to see it live! Today the tiredness lingers but it's all good.
Last Friday I had my scrapbook club and here is our page. It is so great to get together with friends and catch up. If you'd like to get some scrapbooking done please let me know and I can put you on the list to join our little club when we start up again.
I thought this page would work well for some fancy spring photos, Easter, garden or baby photos.
Thanks for checking in.
Cheers,
K

Pop n' Cuts projects 3
Pop n' Cuts bonus day! So very excited as I have two projects for you today!
Again thanks to Amanda Bates for some of her great ideas with the Pop n' Cuts die.
Here is a funky fold card called a Z-fold. See the fancy edges on the front of the card.
And last but not least a treat box for Easter candy. Nathan calls it a mini Tim Horton's Tim Bits box.
I hope you liked the Pop n' Cuts projects I shared this week. Hope you have a great weekend and fingers crossed for a fantastic last weekend of Olympics!
Cheers,
K

Pop n' Cuts projects day 2
I made this next project for my sister to share some of her fun photos of her new granddaughter. Our little new one, Annie is soo sweet but with this digital age it's hard because you always have photos on your phone or computer but never in REAL life! Now she can carry this little mini scrapbook in her purse to share some photos with friends and family.
I die cut the Pop n' Cuts card base in Chocolate Chip and stamped it with the Best of Shelli set (c) 133488. The baby images are from the new set Baby We've Grown (w) 133086 $29.95 (c) 133089 $21.95.
Thanks to Amanda Bates for some of her great ideas with the Pop n' Cuts die.
There's another project to come tomorrow so check back to see more fun with the Pop n' Cuts die.
Cheers,
K

Pop n' Cuts projects Day 1
Man, it's been hard to tear myself away from these Olympics! Are you just as addicted as I am? I think I'm lucky that most of the live coverage is done by noon so I can actually get some stuff done!!
So on to my project :)
On the long weekend (in between Olympic coverage) I worked on several projects and samples that can be made with the Pop n' Cuts die above and beyond the card and gift card holder I shared yesterday. And I was super excited to see the Label Pop n' Cut insert on the Weekly Specials too!
So are you loving the wonders of this great die?? Just wait I have more tomorrow :)
Cheers,
K

Cardmaker's projects
I'm super excited to get back into the swing of things this week with my clubs.
I had a request to show the Pop n' Cuts die so I was happy to oblige :)
I played a bit with this die getting ready for my Convention presentation last year so I had a few tips and tricks to share.
One of my favorite WOW cards I made was this one so recreated it using newer products and we'll be making it tonight.
But when you open it . . .
It's hard to tell in the photo but the flowers pop up and it's 3D!
The alternate use of this fairly pricey die is the best!
A super fun unique pocket card or gift card/money holder!
I added a few tags in here as well to write a special message or maybe a coupon for a free dinner, flowers or other special treat.
Here is the die and while it doesn't look like anything special it can be turned in to so many things!!!
Thanks for checking in!
Cheers,
K

More Fresh Prints cards from Kids camp
I forgot to share with you the rest of these fantastic cards from some creative kids!
I love how I can give them a few materials, tools and time and amazed at what they can create. No rules, no specific plans to follow and they are more creative than my baby finger :)
Hmm, wonder what would happen if I set my adult clubs to the same challenge??
Have a great long weekend!
Cheers,
K
