It's another weekend come and gone and September is just around the corner!
I have a sneak peek of my latest WOW class.
I have only three cards shown here but at the WOW class you will actually create 5 cards plus envelopes (two have yet to be created yet).
All the details of this class will be posted tomorrow along with the awesome new framelits and stamp sets you can add to this class!
The date of the class will be Wed, Sept 16th so be sure to check back tomorrow to see the full cards!

Cottage Greetings card kit
Happy Monday! My favourite day of the week or soon to be it will be (when the kids go back to school). I love Mondays because it's a day when I can STAMP and get back to my work week routine. There hasn't been a lot of that around here lately but this weekend I did get a chance to play around with many of the kits I have purchased.
I am in LOVE with the Cottage Greetings stamp set as it has great little sayings for many occasions and cute little co-ordinating flowers too.
I created the first three cards shown in the kit and then challenged myself to come up with some alternatives.
A lot harder than it looks, but I'm happy the way they turned out.
I set aside the materials for each grouping of 3 cards and mixed and matched the elements.
I thought these would be a great WOW class one day. I now have 15 unique cards and silver foil lined envelopes at the ready and the kit is only $19.75. All I added was the Snail and a few punches! Contact me if you are interested in having a private class for you and a group of friends. What a great way to get some cards done and have a fun stress free night out!

K

I have one last pillow box to share with you this week but this time it's using Celebrate Today stamp set and Balloon framelit set.

Christmas Pillow Box
Seriously, it's 24 degrees out and I'm stamping Christmas. Call me crazy!
While I'm playing with these Christmas goodies I'm actually excited about using my non-Holiday catalogue goodies this weekend. I'm going to make my cards and scrapbook page for my September clubs or at least that is the plan! You know how best laid plans . . .
I really love the cute little candy cane in this framelit set. I can see many uses for it in the future!
Cheers,
K

Halloween Pillow box
Another fun sneak peek at the Square Pillow Box die. I used the square window die to create a peek a boo hole in the box.
I stamped the trick or treat saying (can you see it?) on a window sheet with Staz On and made a bit of crinkly bits with Tangelo Twist card stock. I can see filling this box with caramels or a mini chocolate bar or two. Plus the spooky spiders are on the whole box too.
Check back tomorrow for a cute Christmas sample too!

Sneak peeks from the Holiday Catalogue!
Hope you had a fantastic weekend! I'm so excited that I have had such great response to my WOW with Washi Tape class! It filled up so quickly and I'm super pumped to stamp with friends again.
This weekend I had a chance to play with my new Holiday catalogue goodies, well at least a few of them. I'm excited about this new thinlit called Square Pillow Box die. They make these cute boxes to hold either a gift card or some small treats. I made a few of these for the upcoming seasons.
Here is my fall sample. This would be cute on the table for Thanksgiving, a back to school treat for the teacher or a little gift for a co-worker.
Of course these thinlits also have a co-ordinating stamp set too!
Make a note - A Little Something Stamp set and Square Pillow Box die!
Add it to your September wish list # 140858 $58.50 (w) or #140859 $52.50 (c)
Cheers,
K

Guess what I did today? New Class Announcement!
I created a BIG MESS TODAY! It was such a good mess though.
I was inspired by the Weekly deals to create this new class but I'm not sure if it will be a class in August or September. Is anyone even home in August? Contact me if you are available and interested in this class on Wed, August 26th 6:30pm.
In this WOW with Washi class you will receive a package of In Colour Washi tape PLUS a full package of Note Cards and Envelopes for just $ 22. Use washi tape to make simple and beautiful cards.
Best part of this class you can bring a friend (or daughter), share the supplies and make two sets of cards for just $25!
I have 10 samples that you can CASE or create multiples of your favourite!
Registration for this class ends Aug 16th so don't drag your feet and contact me today!
Cheers,
K

What a great stamping weekend!
It was a great end to a weekend - STAMPING WITH FRIENDS!
Woo hoo! I had a downline get together on Sunday and we had fun checking out the newest products from the holiday catalogue and learning about the latest from Stampin UP!
I planned two projects so I can finally share something new with all of you. I love the new Cottage Greetings stamp set and card kit! I am going to hold a class with this kit soon but I wanted to show some alternate ways to use these great stamps.
The technique here is the Pillow technique or the other name I like instead "the fold and flick". I can't wait to share this technique with my club in September.
The second card we made was a CASE of my friend Lisa A's card. I loved her swap card but changed it to showcase the latest In colours. The Mint Macron is a quick and simple card and the Watermelon Wonder card is the stepped up version.

Plans this week include finishing my swaps for the Christmas card swap (and I'm not even kidding), planning my next card for a swap in September and digging through my big box of new stamps and papers. Such a hard life as a demonstrator! You know you wish you had my job!
Check out the info here! You can even order NEW holiday catalogue goodies in your starter kit! This is the BEST season to get started!

Swap cards - Watercolour Wings Bundle
While at Convention I participated in a large (80 card) swap with some amazing leaders in this company. The cards I received were AH-MAZING to say the least. I have sorted them by stamp set and share with you some different ideas you can do with one stamp set.
I love how one set, well this is a bundle with framlelits, can have so many different looks. I also like how seeing other stampers create so many different styles. What have you done with your Watercolour Wings bundle? I'd love to see some samples.
Cheers,
K

Long weekend re-entry
Today is the BEST day of re-entry after a long weekend!
It's pre-order day for Stampin UP demonstrators! This early morning I was able to place my order for new Holiday goodies that I saw at the Stampin Up Convention a few weeks ago! I was NOT shy! What better way to celebrate Pete's new job than with some Stampin UP treats for him. Ooo, I can make them into pillow gifts for him!
While I can't show you the treats inside the catalogue yet I can show you something we made at Convention. We REALLY DO stamp at Convention(and this may or may not be a stretch of the truth as this is the first time in a long while I have actually completed my make n' takes at Convention). Let's just say I felt how my customers feel when they come to a class. It's hard to stamp under pressure.
I do have some amazing swaps to share with you this week and some (believe it or not) Christmas cards I have been working on. One way to stay cool is to stamp snowflakes :)
This weekend Pete was home so it didn't leave a lot of time for ME stamping time but I want to share some pics of our busy weekend.
There was some bike riding . . .
some driving or more appropriately sitting in the passenger seat with Andrew driving . . .
Lots of puzzle time (kind of obsessed with these right now) . . .
And an amazing hike to Lake Moraine with the family and SIL and BIL too.
PLUS we camped in the backyard! So much fun jam packed in to three days!
Hope your re-entry day is equally as great as the weekend we had!
Cheers,
K
