January - Coffee, cookies and cards

I can't believe it's the end of 2016. Exciting times in store for 2017 - Andrew's graduation, university planning, some trips to Victoria and a big family trip to Thailand in July! Thanks to my amazing team and wonderful customers I have earned the trip to Thailand courtesy of Stampin' UP!

I hope you have a fantastic and safe New Year's celebration this evening.

Here are the next cards for January's Coffee, Cookies and Cards class.  Lots of cookies were made this Christmas season and I'll have some many new cookie recipes to share with you in 2017.

 

Each card is blank on the inside so you can create your own personalized message.  Customize the birthday card with your own special birthday year,  the dragon fly card could be a thank you, birthday or sympathy and the love card could be a Valentine, anniversary or thinking of you.

I created this card for my Dad's upcoming birthday but then realized I would have to GIVE it to him and wouldn't have it to share at my class.  So I made a new one!

And of course a super cute Christmas sample.

Finally I can show you the samples for this month's WOW class!

Holiday Catalogue Party!

Hi all

I'm back from my holidays to Victoria and all ready to get this catalogue show started!

This Holiday catalogue is chock full of great treats!

This Friday, Sept 9th is the party to kick off this great holiday season. Plus a break from back to school kiddos!

For $25 we will create these 4 projects that showcase some different products from the Holiday Catalogue. Each participant will receive a small gift and there will be fun prizes and popcorn.

The Detailed Santa thinlits create this unique easel card.

This super sweet gingerbread house is from the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper - Adorable! The card is note size.

Perfectly Wrapped swap card

Here is another great swap card from Lisa Althouse. I love getting these happy cards in the mail once a month. 

 I love the little arrows to make a pattern in the background. So cool! And the colours -  Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaroon and Basic Gray. She did a fantastic job using the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set to make a super cute card.

Marquee Messages

The Marquee Messages stamp set (pg 111) stood out to me right away but wasn't sure how to use it.

Once I had a chance to play with this set I love pairing it with the Pop of Pink Washi tape.

Pop of Paradise swap card

Another swap card to share! This time a feathered friend instead of a Foxy friend. Are you seeing the flamingo craze as much as I am?

 I love this card from Karen Duke and so great how she paired it with the Swirly Scribbles framelits. Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo such a great summer colour combo too!

I spent much of the day organizing all my holiday catalogues and upcoming classes.  So excited to get these out to you so start checking your mailboxes next week!

Foxy Friends swap card

Hi there!

Finally some nice weather here at home!

I have been lucky to be participating in a swap with some fellow demonstrator friends. 

This funky fold card is from Jenn Tinline using the new Foxy Friends stamp set and A Little Foxy Designer Series paper.

 What I LOVE most about this card is that it folds flat for mailing but is super adorable when you can pop it up to display.

I love how she stamped the flowers behind the main flower and how it's on Crumb Cake and not white! I'm going to have to try that on my next card. And did you notice the copper embossing powder - WOW!

Thoughtful Branches - Just Keep Swimming!

YAY, it's Friday!! And that means more Olympics!  Kidding, but not really too.

My days and nights have been consumed with watching and cheering on the Olympians and especially the swimming events.  CRAZY good those ladies in the pool have been!

Enough of my TV watching and back to stamping . . . 

This card is using the Thoughtful Branches stamp set as well but in a slightly different way. The coral is the tree branches.

Another gorgeous card made with the Thoughtful Branches stamp set. I saw this card on Susan Itell's blog and just had to CASE it.  I love the simple and clean lines of this card.  

 I love the way she cut a few of the leaves off the large tree to appear like the leaves are falling. Oh no, I've already made a fall card!

Thoughtful Branches - August special stamp set

Happy Summer! And as you can tell by my lack of blogging (and stamping) for that matter I have been having a great summer.  

This week is club week for me and I have to share a great new stamp set that is only available during the month of August plus samples I have made with this great set!

  Here is one of the cards we made tonight with this set.  Hydrangeas are my favourite flower, well second to tulips.  Plus a fun braided technique for the card spine.
