Congrats to the winners!

Tracy G won the Around the World bundle.  She was soo excited when Andrew presented her the prize!

Tara won the much coveted Christmas Collectibles bundle.

Lucie won 2 prizes - the Ornament kit and the ink pad and accessories bundle.  Lucky girl!  I think she is going to share with Amy :)

An amazing (but tiring) day! (long post)

With the flooding that occurred in Alberta this past summer there were many families and people that were affected, including Stampin UP demonstrators.  After I organized and implemented my Alberta Flood fundraiser for kids I was asked to lead a small team of Canadian demonstrators called the Compassionate Service Team.  We are still in the planning stages of our team and all the great things we can accomplish but our first and most urgent job was identifying and assisting demos that were affected by the flooding.  They needed our help NOW!

An email was sent to demonstrators across Canada to send any products to help these fellow demos in need.  I had the fortunate and unbelievable task of talking with demonstrators that lost their homes, stamp spaces and everything in it - can't even imagine!  Many more lost furniture, clothing, toys and so much more. I was touched to no end chatting with these wonderful ladies and what they have had to endure!

Last week we saw what was donated to the Canadian office.  Rose Coleman and I opened, sorted and stacked products for these demos and I wish I had a camera to see their faces when they open these packages!!! The notes of well wishes and thanks to all the Compassionate Team members and to Dale and Carrie in the office were awesome!

Unopened boxes and envelopes - all donated by Canadian demos!!  Time to get to work!
Opening all the ink pads and this huge card stock stack!   Better than Christmas!
Bundles and piles of product to send to demonstrators effected by the floods!!!!

What a rewarding day!

Cheers,
