One more quick swap card

Just a quick post as there is lot on the agenda for today!  General Session, Share Fair, meeting and chatting with demos and tonight is Manager's Reception!  

I received this super cool invite for the Manger's Reception at the Houston Aquarium.  Can't wait to see some cool animals and ride a few rides.  

Here is one of my last minute swaps I whipped up on Tuesday night.  Love how making a simple card can be WOW with a little Designer Series Paper and ribbon.  I also love the colour combo with the Retro Fresh line. 

Giggle Greetings are just that and so appropriate for many of my friends!!!

Weekly Specials - Jan 7 -13

I'll be leaving soon to attend Stampin UP's Leadership conference in Houston and can't wait!   During the holiday break I had a huge long list of things I wanted to accomplish but of course like all plans, things change.  I did have to create a few swaps for an organized swap with fellow demos and I did that.

Not my usual "go to" colour choice but I like the end results.

Happy Monday - And back to reality!

It's quite amazing how a two week vacation can go so quickly! Two weeks of family time!!

We played board games, went skiing, tobogganing, skating; you name it and we did it!  Lots of movie watching, tv shows to get caught up on and sleep in, jammie days!

Despite having one kid at home today (an extra day off for Andrew) I hope to get a lot achieved before I head to Stampin Up's Leadership meetings . . . in HOUSTON!  Woo hoo, I don't think the weather will be great but at least there won't be any snow!

Thought I'd share a few pics the fun we had.

On Dec 21st we welcomed our new great niece and 2nd cousin, Annie Elizabeth.  She is adorable!

Just one of the games we played on games night - a new fantastic game we found is Pandemic, and lots of Monopoly, Pay Day, Life, Rummikub and Jenga.  I lost this game.

We bought a new table and chairs!!  Woo hoo!  Very excited about this new purchase.  NO Big Shot and punches allowed on this table for now!

New Year's Eve dinner - Crab for Nathan and the rest of us starve!

So much fun, I can't wait until the spring.  We'll probably still have snow!

WOW Class - Close up of card #3

My favorite card of the three and yes, probably the most difficult of the three but the most WOW!  

Looks like as simple card from the front. 

But pull on the tab . . . .

And VOILA!  It's a double slider card with inserts coming out the top and bottom!

I saw this card on Lyssa Z's blog and knew I had to figure out "how'd she do that?"  She had some great step by step directions on her blog.  Thanks Lyssa!

It really is quite easy when you have the right tools and it sure does fit this WOW class criteria of Cards that Move!

This class is titled Cards that MOVE!  I'm super excited to share this one with you!
