Festive Flurry Wreath

I'm super excited to have my Ornamental Elegance class today!  One because I'll be seeing some ladies I haven't seen in a while plus many friends that come to classes often and two) I get to show off my new wreath!

Once I saw this wreath created with the Festive Flurries Ornament kit and had to re-create one myself. 

 I used the backing paper we received from our Designer Series paper packages and traced a dinner plate for the base and then a smaller salad plate for the inside.  I used the ribbon in the kit for the hanger and then picked up some sparkly ribbon to make the bow.

Christmas Swap cards

I am soo very lucky to have such passionate and talented downline :)

A few months ago we had a demonstrator group swap (sharing cards we created) with the new stamp sets from the Holiday catalogue.  Each participant made 11 of the same full cards and we "swapped" samples and now we each have 11 different cards.  I made two groups and coincidentally everyone signed up to be in both groups.  Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing the lovely samples made by them.

Cardmaker's Club projects

Hi all

Jut a quick post as today is Christmas shopping day!   The plan is in place, the list written and the wallet is ready! 

A few weeks ago I had our monthly Cardmaker's meeting and made the new envelope punch board the focal tool of our meeting.  

File folder cards are all the rage and I CASED this fantastic card from Patty Bennett.   

Next we made this cool Christmas Cracker.  Martha Inchely has a fantastic video on how to make these with the envelope punch board here. 

Plus our monthly technique. They saw a card created by my downline, Kari so I had to re-create her card as I didn't have the same set as her.  Everyone loved the double embossing with black and irridescent ice powders.

Pics from Niagara Falls

Hi there

Sorry for not posting yesterday but I needed a day to recover from a whirlwind trip to Niagara Falls.  I went on a "secret" mission (okay, not so secret) to Niagara Falls with 11 other demonstrators from across Canada.  I took part in an all day strategy summit with these fantastic demos and our Stampin Up Canada manager, Dale Hampshire.  What an amazing experience and some great photos and stories from the weekend!

And what did you do this weekend . . .

 Of course there was hockey and a fun craft class on Sunday but the best part was this.

My niece and nephew in law returned from their year in Japan and we went to meet them at the airport.  It was so great to see them safe and sound and finally home.  We'll have a dinner soon to hear all about their travels and see all their pictures.  I can't wait!

This was the rest of my weekend in a nut shell . . .(and I'm not kidding, they are taking the whole weekend).

 Now for a little glitch this year.  My booth will only be at the fair on SATURDAY but the fair goes both Saturday and Sunday.

The second glitch is that while my handmade crafts will be at the fair I won't be.  I will be in Niagra Falls to to take part in a Stampin UP Strategy team of 12 demonstrators selected from across the country. While this is HUGE honour I am sad to be missing the one and only craft fair I participate in.  Luckily, my sister is the BEST and she agreed to help hock the wares at the fair.  So be sure to stop by and say hi to Stephanie!
