Happy Monday!
Hope you had a great weekend despite the lack of sleep yesterday. Daylight Savings isn't quite as much fun in the spring.
Just a few more amazing samples using High Tide.
This beautiful card by Ellie Blake used the Seaside embossing folder in the background. Just lovely.
As well, Gen Ko used the same embossing folder but this card has a different look when you use a different coloured ink for the light house. Love how she tied in the By the Shore Designer Series paper too.
And this last card I love the flock of birds flying overhead. Mo Dickie created this beauty.
Thanks for checking in with me. Cardmaking club is this week so it should be a busy one!
Happy Stamping!
Cheers,
K

More High Tide samples
More samples of High Tide to share with you. I just love these set samplers as I can show you multiple ways to use the same set!
Nancy Gauthier made this beautiful card using just the white embossing powder. I also loved getting a sample with French text. I actually received quite a few of these.
Kay Smith's card had a lovely embossed background too. Check out the details in the sentiment as well with the sunshine background. Simply lovely.
I will share the last of my High Tide samples next week. Until then have a fantastic weekend.
Cheers,
K

High Tide Set Sampler
High Ride is one of my favourite sets from the Occasions catalogue. This set surprised me as one of my go to sets and when I received the samples of this set sampler at the Conference in January I knew it was going to be super popular with my customers as well!
This card by Lynsay Mohan has everyone stop for a second. Why? How did she do the background? The paper pack from Serene Scenery makes this card easily duplicatable and quick!
I like the way Alison Solven used the Designer Series Paper to "ground" the lighthouse and give it a pop of colour.
And Kim Stathakos used a great tone on tone technique - Bermuda Bay paper, ink and cardstock to make the focal image pop.
Hope you have a great Wednesday and enjoy the day despite the cold temps in Calgary!
Cheers,
K

Thank you!
Thank you to all who attended the Retired Stamp sale this past weekend!
It was an incredible success as many people left happy with their new purchases and I left happy with many empty boxes and much less to return to my basement.
I had many ask if I do this sale every year. My response - if I had this much stuff every year then I'd be in trouble! I still have 4 boxes of stamps leftover and with the new catalogue in June coming I'm sure many more in my stash will retire. Soo...I'm sure there will be a sale in the future.
Off to create and catch up on work that I put aside to get ready for this sale.
Thanks for checking in and watch for some amazing cards on Wed featuring the stamp set High Tide!
Cheers,
K

It was an incredible success as many people left happy with their new purchases and I left happy with many empty boxes and much less to return to my basement.
It was very busy at the opening! |
One of the hot items were those framelits and ink pads! |
The calm before the line ups began. This amazing team processed everyone through the line! And believe me there was a line! |
A selection of upcoming classes and stacks of retired catalogues to give away. Lots of great ideas still in those catties. |
