Happy Monday!
Hope you had a great weekend despite the lack of sleep yesterday. Daylight Savings isn't quite as much fun in the spring.
Just a few more amazing samples using High Tide.
This beautiful card by Ellie Blake used the Seaside embossing folder in the background. Just lovely.
As well, Gen Ko used the same embossing folder but this card has a different look when you use a different coloured ink for the light house. Love how she tied in the By the Shore Designer Series paper too.
And this last card I love the flock of birds flying overhead. Mo Dickie created this beauty.
Thanks for checking in with me. Cardmaking club is this week so it should be a busy one!
Happy Stamping!
Cheers,
K

More High Tide samples
More samples of High Tide to share with you. I just love these set samplers as I can show you multiple ways to use the same set!
Nancy Gauthier made this beautiful card using just the white embossing powder. I also loved getting a sample with French text. I actually received quite a few of these.
Kay Smith's card had a lovely embossed background too. Check out the details in the sentiment as well with the sunshine background. Simply lovely.
I will share the last of my High Tide samples next week. Until then have a fantastic weekend.
Cheers,
K

High Tide Set Sampler
High Ride is one of my favourite sets from the Occasions catalogue. This set surprised me as one of my go to sets and when I received the samples of this set sampler at the Conference in January I knew it was going to be super popular with my customers as well!
This card by Lynsay Mohan has everyone stop for a second. Why? How did she do the background? The paper pack from Serene Scenery makes this card easily duplicatable and quick!
I like the way Alison Solven used the Designer Series Paper to "ground" the lighthouse and give it a pop of colour.
And Kim Stathakos used a great tone on tone technique - Bermuda Bay paper, ink and cardstock to make the focal image pop.
Hope you have a great Wednesday and enjoy the day despite the cold temps in Calgary!
Cheers,
K

Lift me Up - Set sampler part 4
Here are the last two Lift Me Up samples. Have I convinced you it's a MUST get set? Hee hee.
This sample by Kim Stathakos showcases the Seaside embossing folder as well as the stamp set. And such a cute idea using the negative space for the clouds.
And here is one from Lisa Henderson. Love those cute little clouds to make the pattern background.
Which has been your favourite Lift me Up sample?
On Friday I'll share the latest Coffee, Cookies and Cards samples!
Cheers,
K

Lift Me Up part 3
Here are two more Life Me UP cards from my set sampler.
I love the way Laurie LaRose used the Writing Notes background stamp for this "Just a note ... " card.
Cheers,
K

And this card from Lorna Raczynski is 3D! How cool is that and the vellum clouds are super unique!
I'm convincing you fall in love with set aren't I :)
Have a great weekend and check back on Monday for my club cards using this great set!

Lift Me Up samples part 2
One great thing I love about this set is the fact you can purchase the bundle and get the stamps and co-ordinating framelits with it for a 10% savings!
A collage sample from Jenn Tinline featuring the stamp set and Designer Series paper is so cute.
And Leena Girsa's card is adorable and also combines all these elements plus the ovals framelits. I love the way she used the cloud framelit for the sentiment too.
Hope you are inspired to lift someone's spirits today!
Cheers,
K
And during Sale-A-Bration with any purchase over $60 you can receive this Carried Away paper pack for FREE.
This card by Ellie Blake is a fancy fold and highlights the Carried Away Designer Series paper.

Life me Up inspiration
Here is a little "lift me up" inspiration for a Monday morning.
Here is the cover of my set sampler for Lift Me up.
What is a set sampler?
It's a collection of cards from 10 different demonstrators from across Canada all featuring one stamp set.
Over the next few months I'll be featuring many of these cards as they are simply amazing! If you attend one of my classes be sure to check out these booklets in person.
Here is my card sample I created for the swap. I used a sponging technique plus a scallop circle punch to create the clouds.
I love how this card from Mary Louise Hamill is a completely different colour combo and uses the same stamp set. I believe she used a watercolour technique and some type of glossy paper or window sheet to create this awesome shiny effect.
Check back to see more Lift me UP samples on Wednesday!
Cheers,
K

My bucket is full!
I just returned home from an incredible weekend in Toronto at the Canadian Business Conference with Stampin' UP!.
What made this event even more incredible was that I am part of a 12 member Canadian Strategy Team that helped bring this incredible vision to fruition. So you see why my blog has been suffering lately.
It was an amazing experience, full of steep learning curves, tight deadlines and balancing work/home/family but the results were worth all the efforts.
Here are a few snapshots of my weekend.
I had the honour of presenting one a business topic on day one which was super fun. I think I'm getting a hang of this public speaking thing, but it was also nice to get it over and done with on day one.
I have many other photos and super card samples to share with you in person and online.
My carry on was overfilled with 50+ swaps with new card ideas. I can't wait to implement them all!
Cheers,
K
