Birthday tags?

After all the Christmas madness I had to create a ton of samples for my January classes.  There were many of hours spent at my desk with a ton of paper and inks and many a blank moments not knowing what to create.

Beside my desk I had a few Christmas tags from various presents and thought hmm, why not birthday tags??  I created these for my Sunday Kids class and a little box to hold them all.  We have a few more projects for Sunday but I'll keep those under wraps :)

Thanks for stopping by.

Valentine Mom and Me samples

I'm so excited to be having another Mom and Me class.  I haven't had one of these classes in a while so I know you have been waiting for me to plan one.

The emails have started coming so please don't wait to sign up for this class.  I'm going to be BRAVE this year and try a preschoolers class.  I SHOULD be able to do this since my degree is in Early Childhood Education, right??

Here are the class samples for Sat, Jan 22nd from 10-11:30 for 4-6 year olds. Cost is $20 for Mom and Me (you each make all the projects shown below).

Choose from Sat, Jan 22nd 1-3pm OR Sun, Jan 23rd 10-12 for 7 and up. Cost is $25 for Mom and Me (you each make all the projects shown below).

Ask me about prices if you want to bring more than one "Me."

Cheers ,
K

PS Check out the other class samples as the WOW class (Jan 19th) and the Stamp a Stack (Jan 30th) are also filling too.

Back to reality :)

Morning!

Just a quick post as it is back to real life - no more vacation.  Here are two cards that use two of the new sets from the Occasions Mini that starts today!  These cards were made some Kim and Tova.  Thanks for the great inspiration!

Take a Spin can create some truly original cards.  Add the Game Spinner hands and Wowza!  Great card, Kim.

Create a Cupcake done a la Tova!  I love the cute satin bow!
Have a great day!

Leadership swaps

Now if yesterday's post was too girly for you this swap is the complete opposite.  I was introduced to this idea from Angela M (Thanks Angela!).  She showed me a card featuring this idea for the Batman logo and for the life of me I can't seem to find it again to give her credit.  So if this was your idea for a punchy Batman please let me know so I can pass along the thanks :)

I used the Inviting set, which I LOVE!  Birthdays are coming up in my house which means invitations, thank yous and birthday favors.  Lots of things to create in the new year!

I think 32 in total.  Yes, I was going batty! Ha ha!

I used the Medium size oval, Scallop circle and Boho Blossom punch to make the Batman.
Would you want to swap with me?

Test post

Two more days of sleeping in :(

I'm really sad that there are only 2 more days of holidays:(  I know I should enjoy the time but it's really sad knowing there is an end of sleep in mornings, days spent playing games and quite honestly NO driving and NO homework.  Oh and having Pete home almost every day to help out with the kids is a dream!

Okay back to reality! In under two weeks Stampin Up's Leadership meetings are being held and I'm super lucky that I get to travel to Nashville to partake in the festivities!  One of the big things to prepare for are the SWAPS!  This is where I receive a ton of great ideas for card classes, buffets and clubs.   What to do in a swap?  I make 20, 50 or 100 of one design of card and then when I'm in Nashville I will "swap" with other creative people and come home with 20, 50 or 100 different designs.  This is the basis of my Leadership Secret Stamp a Stack class on January 30th.   I will bring home some new designs, post some of my faves on my blog and the top 5 cards voted on will be the Stamp a Stack cards for that class.  Sounds like fun?  I think so.

So here are my swaps (pardon the messy desk pics).  I like to make two different designs since I get bored easily but here is one I created with the new Sweet Stitches Designer Series paper, the pom pom trim and fabric brads.  Super sweet!

Yes, there are a lot of them.  72 in total to be exact :)

Here's a close up of a few of them.

I will post my second swap card tomorrow.  I can't decide though, should I actually stamp something on the outside of the purse?  Like a greeting or something?  Opinions please!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
