Back to teaching!

Hope you had a great weekend!  Finally some nice weather to enjoy!

I had my first card class of the summer yesterday and it was super fun!  A relaxing card buffet where I had my own chance to stamp and visit.  Hope I didn't visit with everyone too much though :)

Thought I'd share my vase of flowers now that my supplies have arrived.

I still have lots of flowers to make a second bouquet or use them on cards, scrapbook pages and more.

Mom and Me class - Bloomin Bouquet

There are still some spaces left in my August 31st Mom and Me class.  

  Date - Mon, Aug 12 (6-8pm) * 1 spot left or Sat, Aug 31st (10-12)
Cost - $20
Ages - 5 and up

Start the school year off with a bouquet of flowers for your new teacher.  You will make a dozen paper flowers and combine them all in one vase or split them into two. Decorate a fancy card to match your flowers.

Please bring- vase or recycled jar, hot glue gun and glue sticks

Contact me ASAP so I can order all the supplies by the 10th of August.

Super Cute Penguin Banner - Close ups!!!

Yesterday I announced a new Mom and Me class but the banner is WAY cuter close up so here are some extra pics.  The penguin came from a Christmas Card swap I received from Sandy Kanapilly.  Thank you Sandy for sharing your creativity.

Christmas Mom and Me - 6 - 8

I'm soo excited to finally have a class for my wee followers :)  This class is for you (and your moms). The age recommended for this class at 6 -8 years old. I did this project with the Inky Thumbs group and they completed it with a bit of help.  I'm sure 4-5 year olds could do this as well but just be forewarned you may need to offer a bit more assistance.

Note - the top chipboard piece may vary (stars and 2 different style snowflakes)

Cute place card holders or treat bag toppers - you decide!

Cost is $25 for Mom and Me and $10 for additional Me's.   There are only 3 spots available for each class so if you are interested contact me ASAP!

Happy Monday! Ho ho ho Santas!

I love Mondays!  It's time to working on my new classes for the new year with NEW goodies!  Yay!  Keep watch for an Occasions Mini kick off party to see some of the new products, new class samples and of course a fun make and take!

BUT before we get to new stuff I have to show you what I've been working on.

Two days ago I opened my BIG mouth and asked Nathan, Do you think you'd like to bring these as treats for your class?  

We also made these at the Mom and Me Kids class.

SERIOUSLY!  What was I thinking?  I had wrapping, shopping and other various things to do to get ready for Christmas!  


Of course he said YES and I thought why not add his hockey team too!


So I spent two late nights creating these.

More Easter!

I'm really excited to finally have finished my Mom and Me class projects. Whew!  

I checked many blogs, websites and more so don't think that these projects were all created/designed by me :) Thanks to weeinklings  for a great tutorial for the Easter Egg basket and everyone else in cyberworld where I found these great ideas, tips and techniques.

Stampin UP has a fantastic website for demonstrators and of course if you haven't checked out splitcoaststampers it's a must.

I knew if I made the Bunny and Chick M and M tubes with just one of the classes then I'd be in trouble! They are soooo much cuter in real life too!

In each class both MOM and ME create the projects so you get 2 of each project shown.

Valentine Mom and Me samples

I'm so excited to be having another Mom and Me class.  I haven't had one of these classes in a while so I know you have been waiting for me to plan one. 


The emails have started coming so please don't wait to sign up for this class.  I'm going to be BRAVE this year and try a preschoolers class.  I SHOULD be able to do this since my degree is in Early Childhood Education, right??


Here are the class samples for Sat, Jan 22nd from 10-11:30 for 4-6 year olds. Cost is $20 for Mom and Me (you each make all the projects shown below).

Choose from Sat, Jan 22nd 1-3pm OR Sun, Jan 23rd 10-12 for 7 and up. Cost is $25 for Mom and Me (you each make all the projects shown below).

 Ask me about prices if you want to bring more than one "Me."
