Lift me Up - Set sampler part 4

Here are the last two Lift Me Up samples. Have I convinced you it's a MUST get set? Hee hee.

This sample by Kim Stathakos showcases the Seaside embossing folder as well as the stamp set.  And such a cute idea using the negative space for the clouds.

And here is one from Lisa Henderson. Love those cute little clouds to make the pattern background.

Which has been your favourite Lift me Up sample?

On Friday I'll share the latest Coffee, Cookies and Cards samples!

K

Downline - Stamp and Share!

This weekend was  my Stamp and Share and I just LOVED the cards they all brought for this month's Creative Challenge so I just had to share!

This month I sent each participant a colour challenge with the one of the new In Color's and some new Ruched ribbon.

Check out the cards from Bev and Deborah. They used Dapper Denim, Soft Sky and Wisteria Wonder.  Aren't they incredible!

Created by Bev - love the Botanical Blooms with the shimmer

Created by Deborah - Love the variety of flowers on this wreath!
Here are some incredible samples from Krista. She had a challenging color combo one with Emerald Envy, Watermelon Wonder and Daffodil Delight, but WOW!

Created by Krista - love they way she combined both of the dies in this Swirly Scribbles framelits set

And this one is too cute for words!

I have such amazing team members and glad they took time from their sunny weekend to come stamp with me.

More samples to come on Wednesday!

Cheers,
K

Yay!  It's almost the weekend.  Do you have some extra specials plans for the weekend? We have THREE hockey games this weekend and two on Mother's day. I missed last weekend's games so I'm excited about to see the kids play.

One last card made with the Sheltering Tree stamp set. This one is a different as I just used the sentiment from the stamp set. I just love this font.

This will be the last chance to register for this WOW class as I have to order the stamp sets to arrive in time for the class date.

Date - Thursday, May 21st
Time - 10am or 6:30pm
Cost - $40 includes the cost of the stamp set BUT if you already have purchased the stamp set this class is just $10!

Have a great weekend and hope it's super springy where you are!

Sheltering Tree - Stamping in a curve

I've always liked wood stamps best but I can admit now I like photopolymer stamps almost as much.  Maybe I was "encouraged" to purchase them because of cost and sometimes that was the only option but I REALLY like how you can curve them on your wood block.

You may be wondering why there is snow on this tree but I have a tree in my front yard that looks just like this. It's also known as "spring snow" and it sure looks like it when all the blooms start to fall off.

Tomorrow I have one last card featuring Sheltering Tree but if you sign up for my WOW class on Thurs, May 21st you can make these 3 amazing cards with this stamp set.

Date - Thursday, May 21st ** Date change due to a mtg I have on Wednesday
Time - 10am or 6:30pm
Cost - $40 includes the cost of the stamp set BUT if you already have purchased the stamp set this class is just $10!

K

Sheltering Tree - reverse stamping

Here is another way to achieve a background look with photopolymer stamps - reverse stamping.

First I stamped the tree trunk in Early Espresso.  I used the "reverse side" of the large leaf stamp and inked it in Pistachio Pudding to create the large green tree outline. Then I added the "proper side" of the leaf stamp in Rose Red ink.

The grass was the "ground" stamped several times over with Pear Pizzazz.

Spaces still available in the May WOW Class!

Date - Thursday, May 21st ** Date change due to a mtg I have on Wednesday
Time - 10am or 6:30pm
Cost - $40 includes the cost of the stamp set BUT if you already have purchased the stamp set this class is just $10!

Cardmaker's projects

Ooo, the list is long for this week but on the top is to get back to blogging with regularity!  Last week was filled with the sniffles, clubs, unexpected stresses but I'm looking forward to a week of stamping!

We had a great time at Cardmaker's with some fun quick and easy projects - well, I intended them to be quick and easy :)  Each of the cards use the new photopolymer set Lovely Amazing You.

140594 Lovely Amazing You $17.95

And then our big project was the cute Berry Basket but with 3x3 note cards.  The Cheerful Critters sets is HOLY MOLY adorable!

I used the ink pads and blender pens to colour each of the cards.  So easy!

Thanks for checking in!

Watercolour Wonder Christmas

I did warn you I have been in full blown Christmas mode, right?

It started last week when I made these samples with new Watercolour Wonder Simply Created kit.  It is simply amazing!

135869 $30.95
This kit includes (almost) everything needed to create 20 beautiful cards including envelopes.  The only thing you will need it a few re-inkers  (Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate and Coastal Cabana), Bermuda Bay ink pad and the Watercolour Winter Too stamp set.

I will be hosting a Christmas card workshop bee to prep all these pieces and assemble some cards in late November so watch for more info on this fun day!

Check out a few of the steps needed to create these lovely watercoloured cards.

Using the paint brush provided, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler inks. I was a watercolouring fool!
And the letters to make another card (check out all the dif languages and extra letters too).

Best tip ever:  Apply Tombow to the back of the mini letters and attach twine to the back.  Let dry and then punch out letters.  Voila!  Letters perfectly spaced and attached to the string.

These great little die cut pieces are ready for stamping.

Happy Monday and some Christmas????

Yep, I was in full blown Christmas mode this past week if you can believe it.  I think I have heard more than 3 times that it is less that 90 days til Christmas and it almost makes me want to  . . .  well, you know.

Here is a fun card I made for my Blendabilities club peeps.

I used the Open Heart stamp set for the branch and the sentiment is from Watercolour Winter Too.

A little fussy cutting around the Christmas Bauble and voila!

I have tons of new Christmas card samples but I'm most excited to share my WOW class samples on Wednesday!

Be sure to check back then to register for the coolest WOW class!
