Last night we had our Cardmaker's club meeting and I showed them the reinker spread technique. I have seen other demonstrators tutorials but thought I'd try to make my own with photos.

Here are the supplies all ready to go - Pretty in Pink, Tangerine Tango, Riding Hood Red. |
Emboss the large flower image with Versamark and white embossing powder onto Shimmery White paper (you need a thicker paper to hold the water in the next step.) |
Spritz the paper thoroughly with water. |
Add a few drops of reinker fluid to a paint tray. With an aqua painter pick up the lightest colour of ink and touch the tip of the painter to the water. Repeat in various areas of the flower. |
Repeat with all the colours of ink. |
Continue until the entire flower is entirely coloured and allow LOTS of time to dry. 1/2 hr or more depending on the amount of water on the surface. |
Trim out the flower and add to the card. Voila! |

This is
where I first found the technique and colour scheme. Thanks Sharon Rogers for a great video.
Try this new technique this weekend - it's pretty fun!
Cheers,
K
