Thank you!

Thank you to all who attended the Retired Stamp sale this past weekend!

It was an incredible success as many people left happy with their new purchases and I left happy with many empty boxes and much less to return to my basement.

It was very busy at the opening!

One of the hot items were those framelits and ink pads!

The calm before the line ups began. This amazing team processed everyone through the line! And believe me there was a line!

A selection of upcoming classes and stacks of retired catalogues to give away. Lots of great ideas still in those catties.

I had many ask if I do this sale every year.  My response - if I had this much stuff every year then I'd be in trouble!  I still have 4 boxes of stamps leftover and with the new catalogue in June coming I'm sure many more in my stash will retire. Soo...I'm sure there will be a sale in the future.

Off to create and catch up on work that I put aside to get ready for this sale.

Thanks for checking in and watch for some amazing cards on Wed featuring the stamp set High Tide!

Cheers,
K

Stay warm this week

Garage sale success!

Just a quick note to tell you THANK YOU for attending my garage sale this weekend!

It was a success in that I am lighter less a few stamp sets that I know are in good homes.  Still tons left but I will be trying to sell those online if there is interest.

There wasn't much stamping going on this weekend due to the sale but I hope to share more of the extra samples I made with the Hearth and Home framelits.  My mind is buzzing with all the great thigns you could make!

Cheers,
K

So here are a few more pics of the goodies you will find on Thursday (and Wednesday for my hostesses and club members).

Cheers and hope to see you Wed or Thursday,
K

Getting ready for the BIG day

Sorry no posting yesterday but I was up to my eyeballs in stamps and ribbons getting ready for my BIG Sale this week.

I can't believe how many ribbons I have cut and wrapped in the past few days.

50 cents per yard or pick 5 for $2

Here is a sneak peek at my stamp haul!

Remember all the stamps are priced at the last catalogue price.  Pick a set (or two or three) and receive the equivalent in new Catty merchandise.  Taxes and shipping are extra.

Start writing those wish lists of new catty stuff and come pick from my retired sets.

Can't wait!

Stampin Up Garage sale sneak peek

Less than a week until my Stampin UP Garage sale.  While my last rubber rummage sale went VERY well I still have many sets that I must part with.  I can't continue to have 2 boxes of stamp sets untouched and many unmounted.  I have priced all stamp sets at a MINIMUM 40% off the catalogue price and a handful of unmounted sets are priced at 60% off.  Here's a sneak peek at some of my favourite sets in the sale.

This unmounted set can be used with the clear blocks and contains many different images for various occasions.

I LOVE this set.  Look at all the fabulous sayings in this set.  These work great punched out in a circle or square and added to a card.

I {heart} this butterfly.  Works well with poppin pastels, multi coloured ink pad and cut out - many other techniques!

Great set for kids and watercolouring!  Lots of different images for many different occasions.

Love my Cheep Talk!

A few different Christmas sets left.

A great set for wedding, thank you and anniversary cards.

Even brand new unmounted sets!

I hope you get a chance to stop by on Sunday, Sept 18th 1-4pm.   Contact me for the address, but I will not hold sets or answer questions on specific sets.  Come check it out.

Cheers,
K

Congratulations to my Door Prize winners!

Can you believe there were even prizes at the Rubber Rummage sale??

Crazy!  I made these little gift boxes with the Fancy Favor Die, some shredded paper and filled with a few Stampin Up items?  Can you tell I'm in love with the new In Colours this year!!

Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Island Indigo - don't they just scream SUMMER!

Congratulations to Angela M, Johanne F and Danae D!!!  I will enclose your prize in your order when it arrives!

I have already received some sign-ups for Christmas Stamp a Stack class on Sept 25th.  Please check your calendars and contact me ASAP if you are interested in joining me on this "Boot Camp" Stampin Day! You will be sad if you miss this class.

If you register and pay your $30 class fee before Sept 18th you will receive the supplies to create this bonus card. Sorry about the poor photo but it's hard to take a photo of a window sheet card, can you see me in the reflection?  :)
If you pay after Sept 18th the cost of the class is $35.

Hope you have a great weekend! It's back to school shopping for us - sigh.  Remember I have two boys.  Clothes shopping and MY boys don't really go together!  Remind me to tell you about the experience we had while shopping for shirts and ties for the wedding!

Cheers,
K

Today is the DAY! Rubber Rummage sale!!

No more sleeps but just a few more hours to wait until the big sale!

I had a great WOW class last night but then it was time to move my tables out to the garage to finish setting up for my retired stamp sale.  Yes, the sale is in my garage because I have WAY too much stuff.

Something added to my sale.  For the first 8 customers that spend over $100 in retired product (stamp sets and other stuff) you will receive a reusable shopping bag.  I only have 8 lovely bags and it's first come first pick! Aren't they pretty!

Now that I have organized things a bit more the stamps are now on three tables and just tonight I found a few more embellishments (brads, buttons and other goodies) to add to the collection.

If you stop by don't forget to enter for the door prize, check out my new class samples and pick up a fall class schedule.

It's going to be a wild and hope you can come by!!!

Cheers,
K

Rubber Rummage sale sneak peek

Only one more sleep until my BIG Stampin Up Retired sale!  I know many of you are super excited about this sale but non more excited than my husband :)  He is happy to see all this stuff leave our basement and I'm excited because now I have space so I can get more NEW stuff!  See everyone wins!

Why is it the BEST sale ever for you?

Every retired stamp set you purchase you receive a merchandise credit for the equivalent in current Stampin Up merchandise (not just stamps, anything in the new catalogue.)  You must pay for the shipping and taxes on the new merchandise and all orders must be placed and paid for on the sale day. It's a BUY ONE GET ONE FOR FREE sale!

Here's a few tips to prepare:

1) Check out the old catalogue and see if there are any sets you are on the hunt for. Be early since others may also have that stamp set on their list too.  I will not be "holding" stamp sets.
2) Write your wish list of new catalogue items ahead of time.  Decide on a total/budget and come with that amount in mind when choosing retired sets.

3) To help speed things up please bring your own 2011-2012 catalogue.

Here's a sneak peek.

The other table will have various other discounted discontinued Stampin Up and scrapbooking merchandise.  These tables are NOT part of the buy one get one with the stamps.  Cash only please for these items.

Simply Scrappin kits - I'm going to start a self help group.  I can't help myself when I see these.

Sticker Sheets - leftovers from Simply Scrappin Kits and make great additions to scrapbook pages or cards.

Designer Series Papers - 50 cents per sheet

Assorted Stampin Up goodies - paper, templates, die cuts and more

Magazines and Idea books - $1 each

Retired inks, reinkers and markers - prices assorted
I hope to see many of you there on Thursday from 6-8pm.  Please contact me if you are planning to come so I have rough idea of how many will be coming. No need to email me if you already have.  Thanks :)

Cheers,
K
