Birthday card swap - Masculine ideas

I'm excited to share with you some fantastic cards from my fabulous team members!

This weekend I hosted a Shoebox swap with my team members.  10 participants in all and now I have a great stash of new birthday cards to send!

What is a shoebox swap? It's where each person designs a quick card (10 min max I said) and we prep the supplies for each person to create one of each card. To cut down on the time to make each card I had each demo prep/stamp/die cut and emboss as much as possible.  It was PERFECT!

I knew I wanted to create some "boy" cards so here are a few ideas for you.

November Coffee, Cookies and Cards samples

Birthday Pillow Box

 I used the new In Colour Watermelon Wonder (an amazing colour) and the Cherry on Top Designer Series stack

Card Buffet - Little Buddy Birthday

More Card buffet samples - are you card crazy yet?

I found this card idea from Splitcoast Stampers so thank you Debra Currier the inspiration.

If you have a little girl or boy cutie in your life this one would be perfect.  Even the cute dino or armadillo in this set are sweet.

Last card to share is tomorrow and I'm excited about having this chance to make some cards myself and create with friends.

Card Buffet - Four You + Kinda Eclectic

This one is my favourite!!  I hope someone else likes it at the card buffet on the weekend!  The colours are subtle, but the Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana pop against the Sahara Sand and I especially love the Something Borrowed new Designer Series paper in the Occasions Catalogue.

Card Buffets spaces for this weekend!!!

There are still spaces available for the Card Buffet this weekend!  I want to fill this weekend with 100's of birthday cards!  Get a jump start on 2015 birthdays.

What is a Card Buffet?  
A selection of 10 different birthday card kits are available for you to choose from. You pick the card design and the amount you wish you create.

Sat, Jan 17th - 6-9pm - Mom and Teen (12 and up), but adults without teens welcome too
Sun, Jan 18th - 1-5pm 

Cost - Pay $2.50 per card + $5 (non-refundable) to hold your spot at the class. Please bring all your adhesives to this class as well or contact me for an adhesive kit to purchase.

At this card buffet $1 from every card created will be donated to help purchase an FES bike for my brother in law.

Birthday cards galore!

This weekend's Kids camp I focused on Birthdays!  It's nice to have a good stash of cards to start the year.

Here was our technique card - a shaker card.  The confetti was made with the new fringe scissors and I {heart} the new Sale A Bration embossing folder.  This one is a MUST get and it's free with a $60 order.
 

This was our Birthday card set.  Each card has the same card "map" or plan but there are slight differences.  The kids loved creating them and they looked fabulous!

Extended weekend - sorry!

Hi there

I took an extended weekend break and now Monday has hit and ACK!  I have so much to do before Convention!!!  

Breathe Kristine, breathe!  (that's what Pete would say)

Here is card that didn't make the cut for the presentation.  I still really like it but it didn't make the cut. 

I REALLY love the Birthday Basics Designer Series paper - hmm, I think I've said that 100 times!!
