Greetings from Salt Lake City!!  Today is officially day one of Convention and presentation day too!!

I can finally share the projects I have been working on for my presentation on Stamps, Ink and Paper.

I used the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper and Pictogram Punches stamp set to make these simple cards.

And then these stepped up cards too.

I am super excited to share my Designer Series Paper book and Customer Cards with demonstrators.  I know my customers have loved them and I hope demos do to.

I will share more pics of Convention and all the great fun we are having.

Vivid Vases and All Abloom Designer Series Stack

I just love this single stamp, Vivid Vases.  It's probably because I love to get flowers and Pete brought some home last night :)  Lucky me!

Here is just a simple card made with Blendabilties (of course) and a bit of Designer Series paper.

I don't think you can see it very well in the photo but I used Crystal Effects on the vases to mimic water.  It's shiny in real life.

And the designs in the All Abloom Paper stack are just gorgeous!

133703 48 sheets 4 1/2 x 6 1/2  $8.50
Thanks for checking in and don't forget about the awesome Blendabilties marker share.  More details here.

In This Together and Flashback Designer Series Paper

It's crazy fun to get back to stamping!!  I can't believe how many stamp sets I still have to mount!  That's usually the first thing I do because I LOVE it so much!

The Flashback Designer Series paper is one paper pack that everyone has said "WHOA, I really like this one."  Once you see all the designs as a whole you will want to add this to your list.

I added lots of "embellishment" to this cad with the Chevron ribbon, Wooden elements and I used the Designer Series paper like Washi tape too.

This card makes me want to go shopping!  I need shoes!!

Thanks for checking in.

Cheers,

K

PS Did you notice the Blendabilities in the focal image :)  The one thing I'm missing is a black marker - I have BLACK hair not brown!

You're invited plus Summer Smooches

On this one I used a larger "scrap" of paper I found in my stash.  I know you are loving these "scrap cards".  Gotta use them up I say!  No sense keeping them around.

The sentiment comes from the Spring Catalogue set "You're Invited".

Can't get any easier than this.

Tri Shutter and more Summer Smooches

Are you ready for this one??

This card is actually quite easy to make/create but it just requires a bit of math and a ruler.

 Here's how
1) Start with a piece of cardstock 5 1/2 x 12
2) Score at 2, 4, 8 and 10
3) Measure up 1 1/2" from the long edge and cut between the 2" and 10" score mark.  Repeat on the opposite edge.
4) Fold along the score lines according the the photo.

Pattern paper measurements are as follows

End pieces (blue floral) - 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 (2)
Top and bottom strip -   1 1/4 x 1 3/4 (4), 1 1/4 x 3 3/4 (2)
Center strip - 1 3/4 x 2 1/4 (2)
Center piece (Tempting Turquoise) -  2 1/4 x 3 3/4

Thanks for checking in!

Cheers,
K

Simple Perfectly Penned plus Summer Smooches paper

I'm so happy I bought this set - Perfectly Penned!!!!

Even though it doesn't look much like spring outside this paper sure is springy (is that a word?)

I added a large rhinestone to the middle of Brights button plus a few strips of Summer Smooches paper.

Another simple quick card.

K

Just quick card to start the week.  I am going to share 5 different cards this week that I made with the Summer Smooches Designer Series paper pack.  All just scraps baby, I'm using them up!

More Spice Cake samples

I posted a little blog candy contest on Monday but in hindsight it was a little hard.  Okay a lot hard but I really want to hand out some cool Blog candy from the Holiday Mini catalogue, so be sure you check back on Monday so you can enter.  Promise the question will be much easier!

The kids and I have had a fun week with laser tag on Wednesday (with Pete since he took the afternoon off) and yesterday we spent the morning at Tommy K Play.  The kids had a super fun time and it allowed me to get some dreaded computer work that has been hanging over my head.

Here are the product samples from Convention showing the Spice Cake product line.

These fabulous colours and products are on my list for creating the September Club projects.  I can't wait!

Have a great weekend!  It's garden work for us this weekend.  I've been horribly neglectful of our yard this year and now I'm paying the price.  Next year it'll be better :) and in the fall, I'm planning to plant a few new tulips too.

A liitle Spice Cake Sneak peek

Yesterday was a super productive day I didn't want it to end (so I stayed up way late.)  Actually come to think of it every night for the past three weeks I've had a hard time getting to bed.  Hmmm, I think that has coincided with the arrival of my new Holiday Mini goodies.

I think most of you have received the Holiday Mini catalogue by now so I can tell you to flip to page pg 16 - 18.  Now say, Oooooo, Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!  This paper is to die for, the stamp set is amazing and the fabric is incredible.

One of the first things I had to try was to decorate the card box (pg 35) with these co-ordinating products.

First I covered the lid with fabric.  It's super easy to do as there is a template and easy to follow instructions included with the card box.

Then I made this "ta da" flower for the top.  I wound some fabric around the center of the Spice Cake BIG buttons.

Then I covered the dividers with the co-ordinating DSP and added some labels to the card dividers.

Now, that I have amazed you with this beautiful card box I have to tell you I TOTALLY copied from the box we made from Convention.

See  . . . (if you are a regular blog follower you'll know I posted this picture before).

But now I added labels for the dividers.  I can't wait to make some more of these boxes.  These would make fabulous gifts for Christmas - hint, hint.

Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers,
K
ps Thanks Brenda for saying you like the wordier posts. This one's for you!

Long posts and a little Well Word paper

Sorry about the long posts the past two days.  Man, I went back and re-read them and whew, those were a like a novel!

This post will be heavy on the pictures - promise.
There are only days left in the Buy three, get one free Designer Series paper special so I thought I'd highlight yet another of the product suites featuring the DSP.
Here are two of my favourite Designer Series papers and they are on their way here with my last order I placed.  I can't wait to create some serious "guy" cards with Well Worn and super cute baby cards with Nursery Nest.  Order your favourite designs today!
