Pillow Gifts part deux - Day 3, 4 and 5

On the third day of our trip we received this.  It's a dual purpose tote.  One large strap on the top like a purse and two straps to use it as a back pack.  I love it but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

And on Day 4 we got this.  Sorry I can't share the contents of the bag but be sure this one made me squeal with delight.  It contained some new products from the upcoming catalogue like Designer Series paper, a stamp set, ribbon, embossing folder, brads and new roller stamp too.  We are sooo spoiled.

And on Day 5 we had a funtastic evening out at the Epic Theatre Stunt Show (more to come about our final night party).  If you know DisneyWorld at all the final event night was at Hollywood Studios in the Indiana Stunt Show arena.

Before we boarded the bus we received these.

Indiana Jones pack sack

Adorned with the finest ribbons and embellishments

And filled with white cheddar popcorn (yum), cotton candy (not sure how people eat this) and water.

They gave us snacks to enjoy the Stunt Show, how thoughtful.

I'll post more about what happened at the show as it's a post in itself.  One word - WOWZERS!

But when we returned we came home to this rather large package with a rather large flower on it.  First thought for both Pete and I was " how in the heck are we going to get that one home."  I forgot to take a pic of the box but here is what was inside.
Isn't it gorgeous!!  It's a Thomas Kinkade canvas print.  What a fantastic keepsake of this great trip!
And here is the size of the flower on the package.  Gorgeous but huge!  Needless to say I carried that flower and print on the plane, through the Toronto airport and home and it made it safe and sound.

See how large it is compared to our ink pads!

Thank you for stopping by to see my Disney pics!  I hope to be more creative this weekend and show you something new next week.

Hope you have a great long weekend!

Disney Pillow Gifts Days 1 and 2

As I scoured the 100's of photos we have from Disney I'm not sure how to go about sharing them with you.  There are so many great ones but one of the highlights of an Incentive Trip are the pillow gifts Stampin Up leaves for us each night. (Ok, realistically the staff at the Boardwalk ACTUALLY brought them our room, but it was compliments of SU)

A couple of days ago, I shared with you the awesome personalized Disney Bag.  The bottom is insulated and worked perfectly for keeping the water bottles cool which came in handy when it was 37 - 39 degrees out!  Each morning we would check the weather and at 6am it was often 21-23 but 31 degrees with humidity.  WOW, especially coming from dry Calgary.

The kids were treated to their first Stampin Up incentive trip and when they saw the bag they wanted to dive right in.  Pete was great because as soon as I saw it I started squealing in delight and Pete yelled out "Don't touch it, until your mom takes a picture of it."  They knew after day one that MOM gets to touch it first and then boys can.

Day 2 - We received these super fancy cups and a sun visor.

On each of the treats they had a cute tag with a quote from a Disney character.  Attached with some pretty cool fabric (hint hint).

Pete also received a golf shirt with Stampin Up on the sleeve.  Hmm, I wonder if he'll wear it.  He hasn't yet but I'll let you know.

 More Disney pillow gifts tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Plans foiled!

My best plans to post pictures of new projects and new samples were foiled by The Walking Dead.  Pete and I are now into Season 2 of this show and can't get enough of it.  I know it's weird.  The problem is that when we watch the show on iTunes we watch it on my computer and that doesn't let me work while we watch.  See the dilemma.

So instead I'll post a few funny pics from Disney.  Since the weather was soo hot while we were in Orlando we spent 3 days at the Disney Water Parks - Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.  Hope they make you smile.

THE SAND PAIL!  An amazing concoction of ice cream,  sundae sauces, cookie bits and whip cream - don't forget the Mickey sprinkles and cherry.

Three of the four ice cream monsters (one is behind the camera).
DONE!!  It was deelish!

These days were the BEST!  As you can see we did a little relaxin' on these days!

PS Happy Birthday to Pete today!! It's a big one :)

More new products!

Well, now I'm officially back from Orlando!  And whew, what a VACATION!  Up until the very last day it was the motto that we adopted from day one of the cruise - WE ARE ON VACATION!  Even when we were packing up to disembark the ship, leaving the Boardwalk/Stampin UP portion of the trip and leaving the last Disney park we were saying WE ARE STILL ON VACATION!

Now we can say WE ARE HOME!  And it's right back at it prepping for classes, making and planning meals (what's with that) and yes, even ball hockey (two games and an 8am game on Sunday prove it).

So now enough of my life (as you will get lots of pics of my trip over the next several weeks).

Here are some more peeks at the great products from the new catalogue.

This is from the International Bazaar product suite so innovative, fresh and colourful.  This was the product suite I found awaiting for me as one of our pillow gifts!  Lucky me! Sorry the pics aren't the greatest, trust me, in real life they were amazing!

Thanks for your patience with my blog and lack of posting.  I'll get back to daily posts starting today.  Or that's the goal.

Have a great day!

Sneak peek at NEW!

While in Disney we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek copy of the new 2012-2013 Idea Book!!  Stampin UP shared some great samples with us and I can now share them with you.  You will be SO excited when you get to see the new catalogue and I can't wait to share it with you!!

These are samples from the new Product Suite line called Comfort Cafe.  I love the rich earth tones in this collection. Fabric, Designer Series paper, buttons and more compliment this line.  Do you notice any other new products??  I bet you can!

Awesome swap cards from Disney

Here is a dose of creativity from Disney.  Stampin UP held a card swap for those incentive trip earners.  We dropped off 25+1 (for Stampin UP) cards to swap.  We were given a letter to put on our names tags ( I was in the A group) and then on our swap and share night we were met with a large bag of fantastic cards from other demonstrators.  In the Hospitality Suite there were loads of samples posted daily in the room of fun!  Here are a few on display.

Did you notice a common theme here??  Love them!  I'll share some new product samples tomorrow.

Remember Me! A few snapshots of Disney 2012

Hi everyone

Remember me :)

I'm still here but recovering from a fun and exhausting trip to Disney.  I can not believe all I have to share with you from Florida or from the unbelievable Incentive trip I just had with Stampin UP.  They truly made this trip magical in every way.

Here are a few snapshots of my Disney trip with Stampin UP!  More to come!

Our resort, our home away from home!

My guys on the Boardwalk. It was HOT!  About 35 - 37 those first few days!

This unbelievable personalized bag was my first pillow gift!
And it was filled with THIS!
Each day I got to go to the Hospitality Desk

where the kids or I would spin the wheel to get prizes like ribbons, embellishments, paper and more!
PLUS jars and bowls FILLED with all different kinds of candy EVERYDAY!  Neat ones too that we don't have in Canada.  And not just one or two jars try about 10++

And kids prizes each day too.  On the first day they were picking Disney pins and other days were stickers and pencils and of course MORE CANDY!
Stampin UP!  You are awesome!  More to come once I am caught up from this trip!  And the creative samples I can share are WOWZERS!

Cheers,
K
