Leadership swap inspiration

Happy Tuesday!  I can say that now as Monday was my run around day (what a day to do errands - crazy snow and wind!) and today I get to stay home in my jammies and make cards!  Sometimes that can be fun and sometimes when you are hurtin' for ideas it can be challenging.

I'm going to look through my Leadership swaps and photos to get some inspiration.  Hope these pics can inspire you today!

Due to technical difficulties . . .

I may have to take a pause in blogging.  I am getting a message that my iphoto library is full or nearing capacity.  Is that even POSSIBLE??

I will share with you some of my photos from Manager's Reception in Houston.  This is a special event for demonstrators that are performing at a certain title and we are SPOILED!

I had a fantastic time with Sharon, my new friend from Cincinatti.  We ate and ate and ate and I even rode on the Ferris Wheel despite the squeaky sounds it
made!

The theme for Manager's Reception was Be a Big Fish!  This is the cool scuba diver that posed for a ton of pictures.

My buddies Krista, Kelly and Lynsay from Edmonton.

Holding on for dear life on the Ferris Wheel.

The view from the top of the ferris wheel.

Kobe beef sliders, chicken and lobster - YUM!

Chocolatey goodness on a cookie.

Sushi at an Aquarium - is that just weird in my mind!?!

Smoked salmon and cream cheese spun on a fork.

Crab cakes,

Oysters,

Shrimp,

Smashed potatoes (sweet and regular) and you could add pork and chicken to the mix.
Not to mention the roast beef and turkey!  Plus trays and trays and trays of other desserts!  I love this company!

Thanks for checking in and I hope to have my iphoto problems fixed soon.  If you have any ideas please let me know!

Cheers,
K

Leadership swaps

I did a few swaps for Leadership this year and I was WOW'd by the quality and variety of swaps I received.  Downside - I have a ton more stamps on my "list to purchase" now.

Happy Watercolour is a MUST own! (w) 133188 (c) 133191

I'm back!!!

So my blogging from Houston plans went kind of out the window when the internet was $14.95 per day per device!!!  So I opted for the unplugged version of Leadership but that just means I have tons to show you now that I'm home.

Monday was definitely spent catching up on the home front (laundry, cooking, shovelling and homework) you know the drill PLUS working on my club projects that I was too busy to do before I left.

But now I can return to full time blogging and another goal of mine is to get my business facebook page running so stay tuned!

I had a fantastic time in Houston and gained so many new demonstrator friends.  My usual traveling posse of Kim and Allison elected to stayed home this time but I had a new roomie, Rebecca and she introduced me to all her group of friends some from Calgary and beyond.   PLUS we met two fantastic ladies, Beth and Sharon from the US.  We had a blast and laughed so hard at dinners, during classes and more.  I love how Stampin Up events bond perfect strangers into fast friends over our love to stamping.  Sounds corny but oh so true!

And a close of up of my super cool bag!  Love this one!!

Here is one card from the demo boards and I think it is oh so true!

Have a great day today!  I'm off to get ready for club tonight!

One more quick swap card

Just a quick post as there is lot on the agenda for today!  General Session, Share Fair, meeting and chatting with demos and tonight is Manager's Reception!

I received this super cool invite for the Manger's Reception at the Houston Aquarium.  Can't wait to see some cool animals and ride a few rides.

Here is one of my last minute swaps I whipped up on Tuesday night.  Love how making a simple card can be WOW with a little Designer Series Paper and ribbon.  I also love the colour combo with the Retro Fresh line.

Giggle Greetings are just that and so appropriate for many of my friends!!!

Cheers,
K

Weekly Specials - Jan 7 -13

I'll be leaving soon to attend Stampin UP's Leadership conference in Houston and can't wait!   During the holiday break I had a huge long list of things I wanted to accomplish but of course like all plans, things change.  I did have to create a few swaps for an organized swap with fellow demos and I did that.

Not my usual "go to" colour choice but I like the end results.

Stamps - Vivid Vases, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Sahara Sand

There are some great weekly specials on so if you'd like to order please check out my Online store 24/7.

Wish me luck I have an uneventful trip to Houston!  I'm just thankful that I'm not out east where I know the travel plans on many demos are on hold today.

Cheers,
K
