Cardmaker's Club projects

Last week I got back in to the swing of things with a fun Cardmaker's club. I had requests to teach the Shaving Cream technique and something with the Circle Card thinlits.

I shared how to make an extended card with a special folded flap to add a message .

And on the second card I shared some tips and tricks how to add Designer Series paper to the Circle Card base.

And last but not least the shaving cream technique with the birthday stamp set Another Great Year.

If you are interested in trying out a stamp club or would like to join my new groups starting in September contact me.  We do a minimum of 3 projects and one of them is a technique page.  I try to share new products and new techniques as well as each month.  Come check it out in June :)

Weekly Specials

Happy Tuesday!  It's usually a Monday when I'm saying this but because of yesterday's holiday I'm all turned around!

Hope you had a fantastic day off with your family.  We had a shopping day (because it was supposed to rain and shopping is a good inside activity) and we needed a few new clothes for my growing boys.

Andrew's grade 9 celebration is coming up and Nathan is heading off to outdoor school this week so we were in desperate need of a shopping trip.  I was lucky as both of them were on good days and it wasn't too painful for them. 

Believe it or not Andrew picked these handsome new threads and despite his detest for purple he actually AGREED with me that the purple looked better with the his gray suit (HE PICKED OUT).  Shocking I know!

Plus a few other firsts such as a REAL TIE (Nathan picked it out) and it even has a small pattern on it!!  WHOA!  Now to hold on and hope he doesn't grow too much before June 5th :)

Okay, now on to some stamping business which I'm sure is why you checked in!

Catalogue Premiere night!

** Oops this was supposed to post on the first - sorry!

What an amazing night last night at the Catalogue Premiere!  You are going to be amazed at all the fantastic and wonderful goodies inside the new catalogue!

We were treated with an advance copy of the catalogue (I'm ordering customer copies today) as well as treats and PRIZE PATROL for attendees.

 I made these cute gift card holders for everyone on my team in attendance plus a wish list sheet, fancy pen and some post its to flag their first purchases!!

I had 19 in attendance in Calgary and 2 downline in Vancouver!!  Awesomeness!

Missing from the photo are Jenn, Vicki, Avery, Joan, Kari, Heather, and Evonne (can you believe she missed this to have her BABY)  Congrats Evonne!
