Two more days of sleeping in :(

I'm really sad that there are only 2 more days of holidays:(  I know I should enjoy the time but it's really sad knowing there is an end of sleep in mornings, days spent playing games and quite honestly NO driving and NO homework.  Oh and having Pete home almost every day to help out with the kids is a dream!

Okay back to reality! In under two weeks Stampin Up's Leadership meetings are being held and I'm super lucky that I get to travel to Nashville to partake in the festivities!  One of the big things to prepare for are the SWAPS!  This is where I receive a ton of great ideas for card classes, buffets and clubs.   What to do in a swap?  I make 20, 50 or 100 of one design of card and then when I'm in Nashville I will "swap" with other creative people and come home with 20, 50 or 100 different designs.  This is the basis of my Leadership Secret Stamp a Stack class on January 30th.   I will bring home some new designs, post some of my faves on my blog and the top 5 cards voted on will be the Stamp a Stack cards for that class.  Sounds like fun?  I think so.

So here are my swaps (pardon the messy desk pics).  I like to make two different designs since I get bored easily but here is one I created with the new Sweet Stitches Designer Series paper, the pom pom trim and fabric brads.  Super sweet!

Yes, there are a lot of them.  72 in total to be exact :)

Here's a close up of a few of them.

I will post my second swap card tomorrow.  I can't decide though, should I actually stamp something on the outside of the purse?  Like a greeting or something?  Opinions please!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Cheers,

K

  1. I think that stamping something on some of them would be nice. But, leave some of them blank as well......that gives an option to be versatile. But, they are beautiful and kudos to YOU for making 72 of them!!!!! WOW

  2. I would leave them blank for the swap as it leaves others with options. I really like the card and its funky feel! You are awesome.
