Big Shot presentation and the Pop n' Cuts die

Here are a few more samples from my Big Shot presentation in July.

I found many great ideas on how to use the Pop n' Cuts die base to make fantastic pocket cards and gift card holders and now I can't stop!

Here is the Pop n' Cuts base plus the Labels insert.

Card Base Pop' N Cuts base - 130099 $48.95

Label Insert Pop' N Cuts die - 130160 $ 26.95

It makes a pretty stunning card, I think :)

When you open it up it gets all pretty and colourful!

Now for the great versatility of this die!  If you score the card base at 1, 3 and 7 1/2 inches from the plain end of the die you can create these.

These make great invitations, gift card holders or photo holders!  Great for the family photo or annual Christmas letter.

This die and all it's great uses will be the focus on an upcoming Big Shot club class!

Have a great weekend!

Cheers,
K

Kids projects with the Big Shot

The easiest part of my Big Shot presentation was coming up with Kids projects.  I love making things for and with my kids.

Great projects with the new Muslin bags.

A great idea for kids birthday parties or birthday crafts.

Kids Stick puppets would be great to make with the kids and take with you on a road trip or appointment

And what a great Christmas kids projects!  Christmas tags for the kids to colour.
 Thanks for checking in.

More Behind the Scenes pics

Just another post about me :)  Kidding, well, kinda.

My presentation buddy, Krista  just shared these with me so I thought I'd share them with you.

When we were getting ready to go on stage at Convention we were treated to a fancy makeover by the make up lady (who's name I can't remember for the life of me).  She was soo super sweet and applied more make up to me than I have ever had on in my life - kidding.

With Emily Montoya - A super sweet, professional and amazing person to work with
With Krista Frattin - one of my Convention presentation buddies

With Jana - the backstage manager extrordinaire!  She made the stage experience amazing and comforting all at the same time!!

Wah!  I can't believe it's been 3 weeks since Convention!!  I can't wait until Leadership in January!

Greetings!!!

I have to do my blog post earlier, I have to do my blog post earlier . . .

But I didn't so here goes a quick one but a super exciting one!!!

A new product called Undefined was soo cool!  You can create your own stamps with this fantastic new kit.  It look so simple and fun!

Shannon West created these samples on stage.

She called this her breakfast food stamp set.
Then everyone was sent to create their own stamp!

The minion was my fave!  Not mine but I am definitely going to make one of these!

Also this new tool will be available soon!  66 different envelope sizes you can create with the Envelope Punch Board!  Envelopes made with designer Series paper, cardstock, you name it!! So excited for this new tool!

On Stage at Convention 2013

Morning!

This is a "toot my own horn" post to share with you some pics of my stage presentation!  Thanks Allison for snapping these.  I still can't believe it actually happened just a few short days ago.

My projects are still in Salt Lake but when they return I hope to have a get together with downline and customers to share all that I did on stage.

Thanks to all of you who helped in my presentation!

My intro photo and I heard a few hockey fans cheering in the crowd when I was introduced.

Walking on stage and getting ready.  My table was dead center!

That's Tom the camera guy and I'm just blabbing.

and more blabbing.

One of my samples on the BIG SCREEN!

And a simple scrapbook for kids!

Yup, I'm really on stage

If I could do it all over again I would have brought my camera on stage to take a photo of everyone in the crowd.  NO kidding there were thousands watching in the sessions - THOUSANDS!!!   I could see to the very far back!  It was a sea of people!!!  I presented 3 times that day and demos chose which session they wanted to attend (or not).  There were just under 6000 demos at Convention this year so you can do the math!!!!

It was sooo warming and welcoming to see my team at the first presentation, friends from Ontario in the second presentation and more demo friends from Edmonton at the third.  Tons of Canadians cheered, hooted and hollered and it was pretty cool.  Plus demos from Australia, Britain and all across the US
came up to me to congratulate and thank me for presenting my projects and ideas!  Totally surreal!

Thanks Stampin UP for a dream come true!

Cheers,
K

Behind the Scenes at Stampin Up Convention 2013!

Hey there

Thanks for being patient while I had a few non posting days.  I am finally home and Convention has been a BLUR that went far too quickly with very little sleep.

In a nut shell it was FABULOUS!  Of course my highlight of Convention 2013 was presenting on Main Stage and seeing a sea of 1000's of faces (no joke) watching ME on stage and on the HUGE SCREENS but beyond that it was a great time with friends and downline, unbelievable new friends I have met and so much more.

I'll share with you a few pics of behind the scenes on rehearsal day.  I have loads of more pics to share but that will come over the next few days and weeks.

It takes a lot of great people and loads of work to put on a big show like Convention!

Back stage at a quiet time

Setting up my table getting ready for rehearsal

Krista's all set!

And Cherie too!

The lovely green area and no it's not green.

The view from the stage and look at all those seats.

And now that I'm home and it's over I could do it again and again.

I have to wait until I receive some pics from my Convention buddies to send to me but it was a great experience and I would definitely do it again!

I did not believe Emily when she told me that after I was on stage once I would want to get right back up there  ( I think my words were - Yeah, right!) but it was amazing!!!  I think I'm hooked!

Off to bed and I'll post more tomorrow - maybe all my free stuff!  Leave me a comment what you'd like me to share!

Cheers,
K
